time to go home!!

YAY!! I am finally done with finals and am so ready to go home, there is an alleged ice/snow/sleet storm headed this way but I am going to leave tomorrow regardless, I don’t care if I have to push my lovely little brown ghetto-mobile all the way home in this blistery weather... and yes my mother voice is popping in my head with “safety first, if you have to pull over it’s alright dear, I want you home, but I want you home in one piece...” yes, thank you mother, your voice keeps coming back to haunt me when I’m ready to do something stupid, ok, I confess sometimes I do ignore it and do stupid stuff anyhow but the point is that I do hear it... most of the time... (I love you mommy!!) ok, I’m done cus’ I keep getting distracted by stuff... yeah, I think I’m going to go pack or something... hoorah!!

cold is cool!

disclaimer: oh my! I thought that I just erased what I just wrote... thank goodness I spotted the 'recover post' button, quickly figured out what it might mean and decided to click on it just to see if it would work... it did! yay! so here is my original whatever:

It has offically snowed... I hear angels singing the hallelujah chorus in the distance, no wait... that was the chorale tonight at the Christmas banquet, (which was good, mmm, cheesecake ooh and the jazz band number thing was great, love that off-beat) anyhow today has been good first off, because it is the last day of classes, second off, or secondly (whatever floats your boat)this was the last day of classes!! hooray! Then I looked out the window and low and behold there were little white drops of frozen goodness falling from the sky, I'm certifiably elated!!! Since I no longer have any homework to do I am hunting for various things to do with this new-found free time. Although I suppose I could be studying for finals, I think it's overrated at least until the day before the exam...

wow, I just looked down at my hand and noticed I have bush marks on it from certain pine needles from a particular incident... it looks like I have a weird, highly contagious rash but it is only a stupid mark, from being, well, stupid, it looks like I tried to fight a Christmas tree (with one hand no less)... I can't really think of anything to write though... so I'm going to start a new section of this editorial: "Did you know?" so here it goes:

did you know: (if you're an oddessy fan think of that voice - big and booming)

snow is cold
igloos are warm (as long as you don't lean on the walls)
I'm going to go home soon!!!
ketchup chips and peach juice are the best combo ever!
cartoons are neato :)

and don't you forget it!!

well, that's all I can think of for now, maybe I'll post more later...

what a happy day!! I think I'm going to pop some corn, my battery is draining...

the a.m.

yes, that should be the name of a new tv show, it's scary, dramatic, and a completely unneccessary part of the day... for instance on Wednesday morning at this fine school which I attend (but which currently has no snow *blah) my alarm clock got up this morning but decided that I should sleep in, you see some weird phenomenon took place where it seemed to be working, but no sound was coming out of it... I missed my eight am class (why so early you might ask, I don't know, I've been asking that all semester...) then, thinking that the "nap" function would still work I went back to sleep, wow, no dice, I slept in again for the second time and missed class yet again. By now I am feeling coherent enough to realize that "hey this thing isn't working..." so I get up and go to my computer to play some music, to my dismay watching a music video on the internet is not working... I see visual, but not audio, so I turn to itunes, (where else would you turn?) which also isn't working... I see the bar scrolling but hear nothing. Now at this point I start figuring out a few theories (bear with me, it was early in the morning)

1. I am going deaf - so I start clicking my fingers by my ears to see if I can still hear them, well, I hear myself, but why can't I hear any music? So I try the portable music player in my desk, yes! I can hear! - that theory flys out the window

2. Maybe some aliens came down and zapped all of the music at the school - ha, no, it is early but it's not that early... aliens? yeah right - that theory is ridiculous, so that's out too

By now, I have figured out that my stupid computer was muted somehow (well, apparently it was me, but...) I don't know how it happened.

So, I come up with this logical conclusion:

My alarm clock is dumb, I can hear, oh boy, it's lunchtime... yes!! chocolate milk!

Anywho, my brother sent me this nice itunes snooze thing which woke me up fine the other day (although I was skeptical) But for some reason, still unknown to me, the power went off last night, I woke up at 5 am (only two short hours after I had went to bed) to find that my fan was off, there was this weird beeping noise in the hallway and... well, there was no power... my computer shut off - no alarm clock... I tried something different as I took a nap after my first class - I set my alarm clock then preceeded to unplug it (it's supposed to have this safe feature or something so you don't sleep in) wow! boy did it work, scared me to death, (I think the sound also reset the beat of my heart) just a shrill beeping as I was dreaming about something lovely, I thought there was an air raid or something on Sussex... (if I seem irrational, it's because it's the morning, I'm short on sleep, and ok, maybe I just think like that) Well, I'm going to lunch now, hopefully the rest of the day will be a little less scary than morning is for me...
